Beyond Encryption has been named as a finalist in the Solent Business Awards.

The prestigious awards celebrate the very best businesses across the region and Beyond Encryption, headquartered in Fareham, has been shortlisted in the Innovation of the Year category.

The company fought stiff competition to make it onto the list of finalists and will now be in a chance of picking up the category award in October. Paul Holland, CEO of Beyond Encryption, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been named as a finalist in the Solent Business Awards. We know first hand that the region is leading the way when it comes to technology and we’re pleased to see innovative companies in the tech space being celebrated through this event.”

Peter Laurie, head of client relations at awards organiser The Business Magazine and chair of the judging panel, said: “We received a 47% increase in entries this year, which underlines the importance of the awards for the region. The quality of all the companies impressed the judges. The finalists represent the cream of Solent businesses from start-ups to multi-billion-pound companies.”

Beyond Encryption’s awards nomination centred around its work in creating Mailock, a secure email system that is protecting businesses across the UK from cyber crime.

The Solent Business Awards 2019 (SBA) is sponsored by KPMG, NatWest, BDB Pitmans, Taylor Made Computer Solutions, James Cowper Kreston, Royale Life, and Oberon Solutions and is organised by The Business Magazine.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Ageas Bowl in Hampshire on October 17. To find out more visit https://solentbusinessawards.co.uk/
