Why can't I reply to a message?

There are a couple of reasons why you're not able to reply to a secure message:

• the sender has opted to disable the ability to respond directly
• you're trying to reply to a message you sent to yourself (i.e. you are the sender and the recipient). Typically, this is your copy of a message you sent to someone else. Instead, find and open the original message you received from them and reply to that.
