The password on your Mailock account requires a minimum of:
- 10 characters
- 1 lowercase letter
- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 number
- 1 special (non alphanumeric) character
Outside of that, what makes a good password? Things to consider:
- the longer a password is, the harder it is to guess, so if you can, don't stop at 10 characters
- don't use the same passwords for different accounts - if one gets breached then all the others with same password will be at risk
- avoid common, easy to guess words and sequences of numbers/letters, such as Password123!
- consider the use of a password manager. Not only do they store all your passwords, they can enter them on websites for you, and generate random passwords for you to use
