We Are Certified as a B Corporation

In December 2024, Beyond Encryption became a Certified B Corporation after meeting social and environmental standards set by B Lab UK.

Beyond Encryption, the UK company behind Mailock secure email, completed B Lab's B Impact Assessment and was certified against standards covering governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.

What The Certification Covers

Certification required evidence across the full business, from energy use and waste management to employee compensation and corporate transparency.

As part of the assessment, Beyond Encryption achieved a benchmark score exceeding 80 on B Lab's scoring system for responsible practices.

By earning certification in December 2024, the company joined a global network of over 6,200 Certified B Corporations working to reshape the role of business in society.

In the UK alone, more than 1,300 companies had achieved B Corp status at that time, including The Guardian, Patagonia, and Coursera.

B Lab UK's community then spanned 89 countries and 159 industries, reflecting the breadth of organisations using the same assessment framework.
