Innovation was the hot topic of the day as Beyond Encryption shared its cyber security expertise at Business Innovation South in September. The event was the region’s first large-scale expo bringing together companies from within the science, technology, engineering and business innovation sectors showcasing the latest products and services available to businesses across the region.
Held at Chilworth Manor Hotel, the event featured key talks from some of the region’s most innovative companies and Beyond Encryption’s CEO and founder Paul Holland was part of the expert line-up as he joined the cyber panel to discuss cyber security.
Paul said: “The panel was the perfect opportunity to stress how we need to constantly innovate in order to fight identity fraud. Cyber criminals are constantly finding new ways to get hold of our data – and often our money – so it’s important that companies like ours are a step ahead and finding innovative ways to keep everyone safe.”
Beyond Encryption’s Mailock system not only encrypts emails so hackers can’t penetrate them, but it also allows users to verify they’re opened by the intended party. It does this by allowing users to challenge the recipient’s identity before permitting access and as such can provide an invaluable audit trail of ‘Digital Recorded Delivery®.
The system has recently been shortlisted for an award for its innovative approach to protecting people’s identities and information online.
